Strawberry/Sugarsnap Peas Update
Strawberry and Peas The strawberries are ripening VERY quickly. If you plan on picking your own, we suggest coming out soon. Due to the extreme heat and rain, the picking season may be shorter than normal!

Also available now are our Sugarsnap Peas. You may pick your own or purchase them pre-picked. Cost is $2.50/lb for U-Pick or $3.50/lb for pre-picked.

We'll keep you updated on the strawberry crop.

Our Farm Market, located at 3709 West Miller Road in McHenry, is open seven days per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Welcome to Our Farm and Market!

Stade's Farm and Market is located in scenic McHenry County in northeastern Illinois approximately 50 miles from Chicago. We produce 2,200 acres of crops that range from traditional corn and soybeans to specialty crops including many fruits and vegetables commonly grown in northern Illinois. Through our own farm market, we sell our fresh fruits and vegetables directly to consumers in our local area. Our goal is to provide our customers with the finest quality produce possible.

Stade Logo We have also become one of the area's most popular agri-tourism destinations. Our pumpkin picking festival, known as Shades of Autumn, is our main attraction in the fall. The family-oriented festival includes fun, food, hayrides, a petting zoo, corn maze, live music, our popular Pumpkin Cannon, and a variety of other attractions.
